Unternehmen Press Research Partnership for C-Tech & Zettlex

C-Tech Innovation Ltd., the Chester based R&D Centre has announced a research partnership with Zettlex UK Ltd., from Cambridge, UK. The partnership will focus on new materials for antennae and targets in harsh environments such as jet engines, sub-sea systems and oil bore instrumentation.
The antennae and targets will be used for a variety of purposes including transmit and receive arrays for inductive position and identification sensors.
C-Tech's Managing Director commented “We're delighted to be able announce this partnership. Clearly Zettlex technology has enormous potential and C-Tech's expertise in materials selection and engineering will undoubtedly help in realising this potential”.

Applications include position measurement, user interfaces, servo controls & motor encoders. This covers linear transducers and rotary encoders as well as measurement of 2D displacement, 3D displacement, multi-turn angle, tilt, weight, pressure, vibration, strain and flow.
Zettlex inductive position sensors are an economical, lightweight and robust alternative to potentiometers, optical encoders, rotary encoders, resolvers, RVDTs, LVDTs, magnetic sensors and capacitive encoders.
Zettlex is ISO 9001 and BS EN 13980 certified for the manufacture of position sensors including intrinsically safe ATEX transmitters and position feedback controls for potentially explosive environments.
