Marketing Assistant (Part-time)
Based at Zettlex's facility in Newton, near Cambridge you will assist in our international marketing, promotion, advertizing and trade show activities.The post is part-time (09.30-15.00) during term time (circa 36 weeks/year)......the post is deliberately designed to suit a Mum (or Dad) with children at school. Hourly rate is £11/hour.
Duties will include:-
- web-site updates;
- web-based promotional activities;
- liaison with trade press on articles and adverts;
- maintaining database of customer details;
- managing press releases & newsletters;
- arranging travel/accomodation for staff & customers;
- designing and formatting brochures, flyers etc.;
- helping with telephone & reception duties;
- liaising with international agents and distributors.
You should have at least 3 years experience of at least 5 of the above activities (of which web-based work is the most important).
You need not have any experience or knowledge of position sensors - (we would be amazed if you did) - but some relevant experience of working in a commercially oriented organization is a must. We are not too concerened about what qualifications you have but you must have good computer skills; practical knowledge of web-based marketing and excellent written English. Fluency in a second European language would be an advantage but not a necessity. Some experience of international sales operations would be an advantage but not a necessity.
