Electronics Production Technician (to £26k + benefits)
Based at Zettlex's facility in Newton, near Cambridge you will work on small batch, manual production of SMT electronic assemblies. Your duties will be varied and will include SMT electronics assembly, test, stock control, stock ordering, goods in, shipping and liaison with the design group. Hours are 09.00-17.00.Candidates should have at least 3 years relevant experience of electronics production under ISO9000 or more stringent QC/QA conditions. Some experience of production in aerospace, medical or defence sectors would be advantageous.
Applied Mathematician (to £40k + benefits)
Based at our offices in Newton near Cambridge, you will work on the design and development of Zettlex RF systems.Highly numerate, you will be a physics, applied mathematics or engineering graduate/postdoc with experience of sophisticated mathematical modelling and design - preferably using MathCAD or similar packages.
Your work will be as a team leader or team member [depending on your experience]in multidisciplinary technical teams, developing new sensor designs and applications. Some experience of RF or modelling electromnagnetiuc fields would be an advantage.
Some occasional travel to US and mainland Europe may be required. Salary will not be an issue for the right candidate.

Electronics Engineer (to £40k + benefits)
Zettlex Printed Technologies Ltd. is currently seeking an electronics engineer to be based at our offices in Newton near Cambridge.You will work as a team member on a range of sensor projects. Your work will cover analogue and digital circuit design, embedded software development, circuit/board layout, liaison with suppliers and testing. You will be working alongside world-class electronics engineers in a fast paced environment.
You should have >3 years industrial experience in electronics development and have relevant technical qualifications to degree or equivalent. Experience of sensor development or embedded software (especially PICC or ASIC based applications) for either high volume, cost sensitive industries or high specification, safety related applications will be an advantage.
Mechanical Engineer (to £40k + benefits)
Zettlex Printed Technologies Ltd. is currently seeking a mechanical engineer to be based at our offices in Newton near Cambridge.You will work as a team member on a range of sensor projects. Your work will cover sensor design, applications engineering, test engineering, production engineering and project management. You will be working alongside world-class engineers in a robust, fast paced environment and, as your career progresses, we would hope that you will take on greater project or production management responsibilities.
You should have >3 years industrial experience in relevant mechanical engineering and have relevant technical qualifications to HNC or equivalent with some experience of 3D CAE (preferably SolidWorks). Experience of injection moulding, sensor development or components for high volume, cost sensitive industries will be an advantage. You will know the difference between your arse and ABS; know what tolerance stack up is; know the difference between mild steel and a mild stroke and if you're good you might know what the difference is between pipe and tube (answers on a post-card).
