Can an IncOder replace a resolver?

Yes. IncOders are often used as an alternative to resolvers – especially pancake or slab resolvers – which are becoming increasingly expensive and difficult to source. Unlike a resolver, IncOders accept a DC power supply and produce digital data. In effect, the IncOder replaces a resolver and its energization and digital conversion circuitry.
